Welcome to my website and virtual portfolio!

I am a Boston-based aspiring broadcast journalist and copywriter with a passion for infusing each advertisement and video package with an “espresso shot” of personality and interactivity.

I hope you enjoy viewing my work!

It was the most beautiful spring day, almost too perfect. April 15, 2013. I left home with bunny-looped sneakers and too much Banana Boat sunscreen. I came home with a paralyzing sense of anxiety. The sight of those bombings replayed on the living room television when we returned.

Many are often found confining themselves to fraternity parties and concerts. While it is a typical college experience, the strobe lights of concerts overshadow another much-needed experience here in Boston — the theater.

This cannoli dilemma has been heated since the 1950s and social media has launched this conundrum from local fame to national frenzy and I’m here to review each of my experiences.

After about 100 Tarte packages containing $700 Hermès bracelets were sent to a group of influencers to celebrate the company’s upcoming holiday launch of its famous “Shape Tape” concealer (Follett, 2024), Tarte’s reputation was shining bright, gliding into golden, polished territory—until miscommunication swooped in like a harsh polish remover, dulling that gleam.

Here is my first ever package that aired on the March 1 episode of “Good Morning BU,” BUTV10’s live morning news show. Special thanks to my co-correspondent Kayla Sharpe for helping film, edit, and write the package! I had so much fun checking in on student’s New Years resolutions and talking about goal setting.

Above is a feature video that I produced and directed about the host of WTBU’s “Full of Crit,” Lauren Albano.

Above is a package I made for JO 351: Reporting with Audio and Video with class partner Faiz Nawab.

Check out how the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum celebrated Indigenous Peoples’ Day this year, with a connection to place!

Above is a video package that co-correspondent Kayla Sharpe and I made about pollination, seasonal allergies, and beekeeping across campus as springtime approaches. It aired on “Good Morning BU” with star anchor Laney Broussard!

Above is my exclusive interview with Columbia University’s Dr. Robert Y. Shapiro for “United We Vote,” BUTV’s Election Special!

We talked about social media use during the election, the evolution of public opinion, and predictions for the 2024 presidential race.

Above is my final project for JO205: Visual Storytelling, where I told the story of four students who actively practiced and promoted sustainable fashion choices across BU’s campus for Earth Day 2024.

Above is my second package for JO 351: Reporting with Audio and Video with my class partner Faiz Nawab that explored the first post-election Boston Veteran’s Day Parade since 2016.

This was a little different, as I was behind the camera and the editing booth this time! I got to experiment with constant gains and lumetri color thanks to Adobe Premiere Pro, and we were able to speak to a State Senator.
